According to the prevalent legend, the King gave the gift to his Queen to the ‘Saheliyo ki bari’, but in fact, the queen came to marry with her 48 maidens. For all of them, this palace was built and one of the reasons was that to keep the queen away from the political conspirator, the ‘Saheliyo ki bari’ was used for the restoration of the royal women. That is why this garden was named after the ‘Saheliyo ki Bari’.
‘Saheliyo ki Bari’ has many water ponds in which there are several fountains which have many lotus flowers. The green lawns, flowers, and marble pavilions enhance the beauty of the garden.

Maharana Bhupal Singh liked the 'Saheliyo ki bari' so he made a dome of the rain shower and a dancing dancer effigies here. These fountains were earmarked from England, which you can see in the main reservoir in the garden. The ‘Saheliyo ki bari’ is around four gardens made of black marble and surrounded by a white marble dome with an idol of flying birds, and the bird's beak is showing water coming out. There is a huge museum on which a large number of things of the royal family has been collected. There are many old paintings of past periods in this museum. Snacks and other animals have been placed in the glass in the turn of the palace.
